Halloween Cupcakes terrifyingly rich! | Recipes for Kids

On Halloween, sweets are the main dish, and of course they must be scary! If you are organizing a Halloween party or you just want to surprise your little ones with a fun snack, these  spider cupcakes  are perfect for the occasion; simple and terrifyingly rich!

We will prepare some delicious  cupcakes  with the delicate flavor of vanilla that combine perfectly with the chocolate coating.

I assure you that these  Halloween cupcakes  are very easy to prepare, and the little ones will be delighted to help you with the decoration!

Ingredients for 15-16 cupcakes

  • 115g margarine at room temperature
  • 195g all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons of chemical yeast
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 150g sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 125cc milk

Ingredients to decorate

  • hazelnut and cocoa cream
  • sprinkles de chocolate
  • candy (to make the eyes)
  • food marker
  • licorice rope black (cut into strips of 4 cm. approx.)

How to prepare Halloween cupcakes

We will start by turning on the oven to preheat it to 180ºC. We take a mold for cupcakes and cover with pyrotines or paper molds. We booked.

In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Then, in another bowl, beat the margarine and sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes. Add the eggs one by one and mix well. Add the vanilla essence and beat again. With the mixer on low speed, add the dry ingredients and milk alternately in 3 parts, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients, beating just until smooth.

We fill our cupcake molds with the dough, more or less ¾ of the mold, taking into account that it will rise in the oven. The decoration is very simple. First we spread  hazelnut and cocoa cream all over the surface of the cupcake, and then we put a good amount of chocolate noodles on top and turn to remove the excess.

We will place 2 candy eyes on top of which we have painted the pupil in black with the food marker.

With the help of a wooden stick we will make 3 holes on the opposite sides of each cupcake; inside each hole we will insert the licorice to make the legs of the spider.

As you can see, it is a  very simple Halloween recipe  , very striking and with ingredients that we all like. The cupcakes are very rich and fluffy, and the cocoa cream gives them just the right sweet touch.
